Does Rating Matter For Teen Wolf Last Season

Ratings are a big deal when it comes to pull the plug to a TV show but does it matter on the last season of a TV show. Based on Forbes, TV ratings do matter when it comes to the last season and the reason is because it shows whether or not the show can survive in the second form of distribution.

The numbers a show ends with can be an indication of the kind of life it will lead in the age of second-tier distribution,”- Forbes.

However, ratings will not affect the show for another season, since it’s their last season. Also, Teen Wolf at their strongest was during the second half of season three, getting about 2.5 million viewers overall for its live audience.

Most of MTV viewers have come from their digital distribution. The main reason why this particular show has gotten so successful is because towards the end of this season it will be their 100 episodes.

The package itself will be the biggest advantage for Teen wolf when it comes to picking which streaming service it will hold all of its exclusive rights. So whether or not they have ratings on their last season, it won’t make a difference because Teen Wolf will still make a lot of money and live for a very long time.

So fans don’t have to really say goodbye to Scott and his pack because they are not going anywhere.
